Aaron Sorkin has a positive genious for quick witted verbal pingpong between his characters. This was an amazing process to watch when he was writing "The West Wing". Now with Studio 60, this talent of his has lost its luster. Hearing it from actors who are playing actors who are lamenting the pain of well, being actors, is just plain recockulous.
Its a great show to watch if you want to steal the lines and use them at the office the next day to impress your co-workers, but if you want something that won't totally irritate you, then you can skip this one.

Heroes
Among the story lines for this hour-long NBC drama, is that of the cheerleader with an endless capacity for pain. On top of that dilemma (or blessing) is her cookie-cutter villain father with child-molester eyewear. A few other storylines exist, but in the end this is new show falls with a thud on my hardwood floors.
It was picked up for a full season and is all the buzz in the industry. We'll have to see if it can outlast its buzz and become the saving grace for flailing NBC.
One more highlight, the Japanese guy who can time travel.
